Plain language about what this website is, what our services are, and where our role ends.
Effective August 2026.
This website describes the independent healthcare navigation and advocacy services offered by River City Care Navigators. The content here is general education, not advice about a specific person's situation.
We translate, educate, advocate, and problem-solve. We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or recommend a course of medical care, and nothing on this site should be treated as medical, legal, or financial advice. Final care decisions stay with you, your loved one, and the licensed clinicians involved.
Reading this website, submitting a form, or downloading a guide does not create a client relationship. A client relationship begins only when both parties agree in writing to a specific scope of services.
This website is not monitored around the clock. If you are facing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. To report suspected abuse or neglect in a licensed facility, contact the appropriate Virginia state agency directly.
We work to keep the information here current, and we link to government and nonprofit resources we consider reliable. Regulations and programs change, and we do not control the content of external sites.
Please do not submit detailed medical records or sensitive personal health information through the website form. Information you send is handled as described in our privacy policy.
The text, guides, logo, and design on this site belong to River City Care Navigators. You are welcome to share links and print materials for personal, family use. Please ask before republishing.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised version.
